Google Retires Four Ranking Systems: Mobile-Friendly, Page Speed, Secure Sites & Page Experience

I came across some interesting news the other day.

Google has updated its documented ranking systems page, removing four ranking systems from the list.

The systems removed are:

• Page experience
• Mobile-friendly ranking
• Page speed
• Secure sites

This move has led some people to believe these ranking algorithms don't make a difference.

However, in my experience, it's best not to disregard something Google unpublishes. I think these systems still make a difference, but I suspect it isn't serving the search giant to have the information up. 

Considering the following Tweet by John Mueller at Google, it would be best to think about those signals regardless. 

Also, all of those signals are important for user experience.
