We are seeking a Head of Sales (Outbound Sales Manager) to lead our sales and onboarding initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for modernizing our onboarding process, integrating it into the sales consultation stage. By leveraging advanced technologies such as transcription and generative AI, you will enhance our conversion and activation outcomes, ensuring a smooth transition from sale to activation.

Responsibilities

Create and implement a strategic plan to integrate onboarding into the sales consultation stage, ensuring a seamless transition for customers from sale to activation.
Partner with vendor partners, product teams, and engineering to utilize transcription and generative AI tools, streamlining the onboarding process and enhancing efficiency.
Lead and mentor a team of Sales and Onboarding professionals to deliver exceptional service and support throughout the customer journey.
Identify key metrics and indicators to assess the efficiency of the onboarding process, using data to drive informed decisions and continuous improvement.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in onboarding and sales to drive innovation within our processes.
Build and structure an outbound sales team from the ground up, ensuring the team is equipped to handle lead generation, outreach, and conversion.
Drive cold outreach strategies including cold emailing, calling, and using innovative lead generation tactics, optimizing for high engagement.
Develop powerful lead generation strategies that align with company goals, ensuring a consistent pipeline of opportunities.

Requirements

Demonstrated success in building and scaling sales teams within startup environments.
Proven track record of creating and structuring high-performing sales teams from scratch.
Strong experience in cold outreach (emails, calls) and leading lead-generation efforts.
Prior experience in the SaaS industry, particularly with digital products related to WordPress or (Web/Cloud) hosting services.
At least 8+ years of experience in sales, onboarding, or customer success roles, with a strong ability to mentor and lead teams.
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders at all levels of the organization and influence outcomes.
Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, or related fields; a master’s degree is a plus.
Familiarity with transcription and generative AI tools is an advantage.
