Mitsubishi Electric Power Products (MEPPI) serves the North American power systems, rail transportation, and large visual display markets with electrical and electronic products, systems, and services.


MEPPI is looking for a Senior Information Security Analyst to direct and coordinate all governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) activities related to MEPPI’s Information Security Program.


  • Oversee and ensure conformance to information system security requirements during all phases of MEPPI technology projects.
  • Propose, implement, and measure compliance with information security policies, standards, procedures, and best practices in accordance with ISO 27001, statutory laws, and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement, assess, and improve information security controls in alignment with defined policies, standards, procedures, and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain documentation supporting MEPPI’s Information Security Program (e.g., Information Security Policy, Risk Register, Incident Response Plan, Business Continuity Plans, Standards, Operating Procedures, etc.).
  • Collaborate with Corporate IT Trainer to develop curriculum for information security training.
  • Perform risk assessments and report on the results. Engage management to prioritize risk remediation activities according to MEPPI’s risk treatment methodology.
  • Respond to customer and prospective customer security questionnaires and inquiries from MELCO and MEUS. Develop and maintain standardized procedures related to these questionnaires and inquiries.
  • Drive activities and collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure MEPPI maintains compliance with ISO 27001 standards.
  • Evaluate MELCO and MEUS security requirements and recommend whether MEPPI should adopt them.
  • Further the goals and positive, professional image of the IT Department by conducting business with other MEPPI departments, consultants, suppliers, etc., in a timely and cooperative manner.


  • Bachelor’s degree in computer-related field with a minimum of 7 years of experience, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of information system security programs and administering ISO 27001.
  • Advanced interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills required to communicate with employees, customers, and vendors.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Advanced computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Office products.
