A Lot About You

You have a passion for building things that scale and are excited to learn new technologies and solve challenging problems. You thrive under pressure and love to work in a dynamic team

environment.

  • BS in Computer Science or related discipline; or equivalent combination of experience
  • 5+ years of experience developing user interfaces for large scale server applications
  • Experience leading projects, architecting solutions and mentoring junior developers.
  • Experience with both client side and server side technologies and languages
  • Expertise in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, PHP and/or NodeJS
  • Experience with Linux, Git and CI/CD
  • Outstanding programming, problem solving, and communication skills
  • Strong understanding of CS fundamentals and web architecture

The compensation for this position ranges from $128,250.00 – $266,875.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, in addition to equity incentives. Yahoo provides industry-leading benefits including healthcare, 401K savings plan, company holidays, vacation, sick time, parental leave and an employee assistance program. Yahoo has a high degree of flexibility around employee location and hybrid working. In fact, our flexible-hybrid approach to work is one of the things our employees rave about.
