Thank you for choosing to write for us or become a contributor. We’re happy to have you here and look forward to helping you market your brand or further your career by sharing insights with our audience.
This simple guide will help you become a successful contributor.
Guidelines: Make A Note Of These Before You Write For Us
All content provided to us must be exclusive. We do not repost content that is already elsewhere, such as on your website.
We will not accept promotional content with no value to the audience.
Links are allowed (all are followed). But while links are encouraged, any links that are not useful or spammy, or in conflict will cause them to be removed.
Your article should also meet the following requirements:
- More than 2000 words. Please, no fluff pieces that provide very little value. Every sentence should add value, and never assume the reader already knows the topic. For examples of the level of quality we’re looking for, check out Forbes or Entrepreneur.
- Content must be related to online marketing (i.e., social media, SEO, CRO, web design, etc.), entrepreneurship (i.e., advice, wisdom, startup, etc.), and small business.
- Must pass Copyscape check (no plagiarism).
- Include a short biography of the author (two to five sentences). No pseudonyms.
Share detailed and highly useful content.
Tips For Being a Successful Contributor
- Thoroughly check for grammar and spelling errors and include an optimized title before submitting your article. If it applies, optimize your article for SEO with the appropriate keywords. Content that generates traffic benefits both parties.
- Don’t plagiarize. It is not tolerated under any circumstances and will result in an immediate, permanent ban.
- Add useful links, especially statistics or other information that helps validate your points.
- Unless provided by you, we’ll provide all the photos/graphics. Please include the source links to all royalty-free photos if you provide the images.
- Use Google docs to submit your content.
Editorial Ownership
We reserve the right to edit every submission (completely or partially), including links, titles or headlines, subheadings, photos or images, etc. We also reserve the right to update every content at any time for the purpose of freshness.
More On Quality Standards
As noted above, all content must meet guidelines and be of high quality. If the content submitted requires lots of editing from us to bring it to standard, a publication fee will apply. Sometimes, we’ll accept a trade to waive the fee if it makes sense.
Please reach out to us with suggested topics (at least three). You can also send an email to info@techhelp.ca. Do not send topics over that you have already published elsewhere.
Optional: Hiring Us to Write Your Content
We provide copywriting services. That means you can hire us to write the content for you. All you have to do is send over the topic you wish to write about and any specific resource or link you’d like to reference in the content. Note that the proposed topic, links, and the overall article must meet guidelines even with this option.
Please note that we will not link to gambling sites, CBD, pornography, casinos, or anything similar. Submission doesn’t guarantee publication. We’re under no obligation to use your content. We reserve the right to refuse submissions or delete articles from our site at any time without notification.
