We are currently looking for a Legal Intern to join our in-house legal team. This internship offers a rare opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the legal operations of a global media company, blending real-world legal research with compliance, intellectual property, and contract management work. The role is remote-friendly and open to applicants based both in Cyprus and abroad.

Format: Remote, you can join us from anywhere in the world

Duration: July, starting 03.07 and ending on 31.07

Time commitment: 4 hours/day (flexible schedule)

Job responsibilities:

Operational Tasks:

Assist in contract management: updating our contract repository (naming, tagging, organising clauses);

Assist with automations using processing via LLM models;

Tag key licensing terms for analytics, including rights, termination dates, and renewal terms;

Review metadata in licensing agreements for accuracy and consistency (including music-related rights — a valuable learning opportunity);

Update internal compliance checklists (GDPR, COPPA, etc.);

Organise regulatory filings (e.g., copyright takedown logs);

Help with TM portfolio organisation and uploading documents;

Support the name-checking process for production teams.

Research Topics (may vary by business need):

Comparative legal analysis (e.g., fair use vs. fair dealing across jurisdictions);

Trends in copyright enforcement on digital platforms (e.g., YouTube’s Content ID, TikTok, Meta);

Legal treatment of AI-generated content in major jurisdictions;

Overview of the EU’s Digital Services Act (DSA) and its implications;

Global regulations on influencer marketing disclosures and embedded advertising.

Requirements:

Law student or recent graduate (focus on IP, media, digital, or compliance law is a plus);

Detail-oriented with strong research and organisational skills;

Interest in entertainment, copyright, and tech-related legal topics;

Strong written communication skills and ability to synthesise legal information clearly;

Intermediate English required; additional languages are a plus;

Familiarity with standard tools such as Microsoft Office and task management platforms (e.g., Asana, contract management tools like Ironclad) is a plus;

Open to both remote and on-site collaboration (Limassol-based candidates welcome, but not required).
