I built a website for my business six months ago and I'm getting almost zero traffic. What am I doing wrong?

Six months with no traffic usually comes down to one of three things: your site isn’t indexed properly, you’re not targeting keywords people actually search for, or you haven’t given Google strong reasons to trust your site yet.
Start with the URL Inspection tool in Google Search Console to check whether your important pages are indexed. A site:yourdomain.com search can offer a quick clue, but it is not a complete indexing report.
If your pages do appear, you’ve probably got a mix of on-page and off-page optimization issues. Search engines reward sites that consistently publish useful content and earn links from other sites.
