How do I get more reviews from customers without being annoying about it?

It’s about timing and friction. Ask at the right moment, and make it as easy as possible.
The right moment is right after a positive experience, such as a completed project, a delivered product, or a support issue you just resolved. That’s when goodwill is highest.
The biggest mistake is asking too late, when the experience has faded.
For the “easy” part, you can send a direct link to your Google review page (generate one through your Google Business Profile). Don’t make them hunt for where to leave the review.
A short email or text that says “Hey, glad we could help — if you’ve got 30 seconds, a review on Google would mean a lot to us” works better than a formal request. And one ask is enough. If they don’t respond, let it go.
