ElevenLabs says AI resolves 22,000 support tickets a month

ElevenLabs says it is running a large share of its own customer support through ElevenAgents, reporting more than 22,000 AI-resolved support tickets each month and a 65% end-to-end resolution rate for the measured month. The company reported the figures in an Oct. 14 product post written by Jake Tennant and Omkar Waingankar.

The agent was built around constrained workflows

The AI audio company said the agent works across text, screenshots, and PDFs, connects to its ticketing platform, manages longer conversations, and escalates cases to support staff when needed.

According to ElevenLabs, its support team already had detailed standard operating procedures for common categories such as refunds, billing changes, and professional voice clone questions. The company ported those playbooks into ElevenAgents Procedures so the agent could follow repeatable workflows. For higher-risk actions, including refunds, it said it uses Structured Procedures to make the agent follow steps deterministically.

The company also connected the agent to webhook tools that can look up account details such as subscription tier, credit usage, and user-owned voices. A support system that cannot see account state may be limited to generic replies; ElevenLabs is positioning account-aware tool access as part of what lets the agent finish more cases without staff involvement.

Testing came before production traffic

ElevenLabs said it tested the agent against roughly 50 common support scenarios, then reran tests after configuration changes to catch regressions. It also used shadow mode to observe how the agent would behave on production traffic inside its ticketing system before the agent was deployed.

The company said its support team uses ElevenAgents Architect, a natural-language builder, to analyze escalations, identify causes such as missing knowledge or unclear policy, propose improvements, and add simulation tests before changes reach production. ElevenLabs documentation says Architect stages agent-configuration changes in unpublished drafts, and a user must publish those changes before they can reach live callers.

The numbers still need context

ElevenLabs said average first response time is now 60 seconds, down from hours before the deployment. It also said 70% of AI-handled conversations were rated positively by users.

The claim should be read as company-reported performance, not an independent benchmark. ElevenLabs did not publish the total monthly ticket denominator, full satisfaction sample size, error rate, ticket mix, or exact definition of a positive rating in the Oct. 14 post.

If the “more than 22,000” monthly AI-resolved tickets and 65% end-to-end resolution rate refer to the same support queue, the figures imply total monthly ticket volume above roughly 33,800. ElevenLabs did not state that denominator directly, so the calculation should be treated as an estimate rather than a disclosed company figure.

A product showcase for ElevenAgents

ElevenLabs introduced ElevenAgents for Support in February 2026 as a customer support offering that turns SOPs, help center articles, and internal documentation into workflows with guardrails, integrations, testing, and analytics. Its own deployment is now being positioned as proof that the product can handle a high-volume support queue.

ElevenLabs documentation describes ElevenAgents as a platform for building, deploying, and monitoring multimodal agents across web, mobile, and telephony, with tools for workflows, knowledge bases, integrations, testing, analytics, and privacy controls.

For support leaders, AI support performance claims are easier to evaluate when the vendor explains the workflow design, secure account lookups, escalation rules, and ongoing human review, not only the resolution rate.
